Shanghai Express in Branson West

As a local, we have eaten here often. It is not a large building but we have always had great food and service. The carryout is made fresh and is still hot when the food gets home to eat. Because of this, the drive through may not be fast but it is worth waiting for the fresh, hot food. We will continue to get our Chinese food here!

All in all just average. Not the best crab rangoon. Dry and over done with skimpy filling.Not worth the drive from downtown Branson.

Great food and service for the money.

I was a little wary because of the outside appearance but decided to give it a go. Cashew chicken is my absolute fave if done right and they do it right. Probably the best cashew sauce I've ever had. Rice a bit dry but ok. Crab rangoon was AMAZING. Sweet and sour sauce was perfection. The chicken was crispy and flavorful and not rubbery like some Chinese places. The only thing that keeps it from getting 5 stars is the chicken pieces are cut WAY too big. Some people might like this but when you're frying chunks of chicken that thick its impossible to get it all the way done without burning the outside. I was unfortunate enough to cut into a huge piece to find it pink in the center. Kind of lost my appetite. All in all would definitely eat here again just probably won't get chicken.

I keep it classic, chicken lo mein. And they nail it every time!

Awesome service, great food!

The food is very good and cooked fresh. Super hot and tasty. The only reason I gave it four stars is for the atmosphere. It's a converted, single wide modular. It's clean, but you feel like you're in a modular.

Food is consistently great! They offer some gluten free options. My fave for Chinese food!

Some of the best cashew chicken I have had. My brother had the chicken and broccoli which was also delicious. Get the 7.99 deal. It comes with a drink, egg roll and 2 crab rangoons(served beforehand), and choice of entree.

If you like breading you will love their food I'm from Chicago where we have superior Chinese food this to me was not Chinese food I was with a party of 4 and I was alone in my opinion but everyone else was from Branson

Try it for yourself and see what you think. Most of the times I went here it was good but one time it was not good on my opinion. However the server is always really nice and the place was clean. You can go through the drive thru too.

First time coming here and absolutely loved it. My sister and I absolutely love Chinese food and especially General Chicken. We ordered the General chicken and it was delicious. The sweet and sour pork was also delicious. If you're ever craving some nice Chinese inside or drive thru I recommend here. P.S My sister said the crab Rangoon was the best she's had.

1st time eating here and I have to say it was absolutely amazing! I ordered the general chicken and when it got to me the chicken was still crunchy and not all soggy. I also ordered the egg drop soup, it was some of the best I've ever tried!! And even though they filled up as we walked in, the waitress was able to keep up with everyone and the service was still super fast and friendly! I definitely recommend this place and the amazingly yummy food! Ill be back.

In all Honestly this place is amazing. The Cashew Chicken, Orange Chicken, and the General Chicken is amazing, especially with the Crab Rangoon on the side.My family is always left satisfied with our meal and it's just amazing. Thank you for the great food and thank you for always giving us the best service.1000/10 would definitely keep returning to this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone.

Large portions but not fresh. Would not recommend this for your family. Lots of one time visitors traveling through the area. All food is delivered by truck.

Not a five star restaurant by any means but absolutely as good as it gets for what they purport to be. Super fast and efficient service and all the standards you'd expect at a Chinese restaurant, tasting like you expect them too. Crab rangoons are exceptional. Spanking clean tables and booths. Building seems like a remodeled truck trailer or railroad car.

Great prices for the amount of food you get and the food is awesome! Always friendly service and clean.
